                  PAISLEY ABBEY.

                   

The existence of ancient tombs beneath the floor was suspected but none had ever been excavated.

 

A Ground Probing Radar survey was undertaken using a one metre grid pattern of profile lines. 

 

A 500MHz antenna was chosen to obtain the optimum detail and depth of investigation.

 

After interpretation of the collected data the presence of these valuable archaeological structures was confirmed and their positions were recorded.
